Foreign Ministers of Tajikistan and Hungary met in Geneva
DUSHANBE, 29.11.2018. /NIAT “Khovar”/. On November 28, the Minister of Foreign Affairs Sirojiddin Muhriddin, as part of his working visit to Geneva to attend the International Conference on Afghanistan, met with Péter Szijjártó, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary, on the request of the Hungarian side.
According to the MFA Information Department, during the meeting, the parties discussed a wide range of issues of bilateral cooperation in socio-economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres, as well as in the fight against terrorism and extremism and other types of transnational organized crime.
The parties agreed to develop relevant draft agreements on strengthening economic cooperation and trade and submit them to the governments of the two countries for consideration.
Also, it was discussed cooperation of the parties in the framework of international and regional organizations, and following the meeting, the ministers stressed the importance of strengthening cooperation in all areas of mutual interest.
