On Aug. 6, 2026, U.S. Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs Allison Hooker met with ambassadors of Central Asian countries in Washington, D.C. Tajikistan’s Ambassador to the United States Zavqi Zavqizoda also attended the meeting.
