On Aug. 6, 2026, U.S. Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs Allison Hooker met with ambassadors of Central Asian countries in Washington, D.C. Tajikistan’s Ambassador to the United States Zavqi Zavqizoda also attended the meeting.
The participants discussed the current state of regional cooperation and prospects for its further development.
