Youth futsal team of Tajikistan has completed preparation for the Asian Futsal Championship 2019 qualifying tournament
DUSHANBE, 29.11.2018. /NIAT “Khovar”/. The youth futsal team of Tajikistan (U-20) has completed preparation for the qualifying tournament of the Asian Championship 2019 to be held on December 1 — 4 in Tashkent, the press service of the Tajikistan Football Federation reports.
Before leaving for Tashkent, the youth futsal players of Tajikistan held two friendly matches with their peers from Afghanistan. These matches were held at the “Qasri Varzish” sports complex in Khujand. Both matches were won by Afghani futsal players with a score — 1:3, and — 1:7.
Today, November 29, a delegation of the youth futsal team of Tajikistan leaves for Tashkent to attend the qualifying tournament of the Asian Championships 2019. In the qualifying tournament, Tajik futsal players will play in Group B with their peers from Kyrgyzstan (December 2) and Uzbekistan (December 3). Group A includes the youth teams of Iran, Afghanistan, and Turkmenistan.
Only 3 teams from the Central Zone will advance to the final part of the Asian Futsal Championship 2019.
