DUSHANBE, 17.04.2019. (NIAT Khovar) – On April 17, the National Bank of Tajikistan (NBT) determined the official exchange rate of foreign currencies for accounting and payment of customs duties as follows:

1 USD = 9.4394 TJS,

1 Euro = 10.6684 TJS,

1 Russian ruble = 0.1466 TJS.

Also on April 17, the average selling rate of cash foreign currencies in credit institutions of Tajikistan is:

1 USD – 9.4300 TJS,

1 Euro – from 10.6684 to 10.7000 TJS,

1 Russian ruble – from 0.1466 to 0.1485 TJS.

NBT warns that foreign exchange operations are prohibited outside bank branches, bank service center offices, as well as at ATMs and payment terminals located within the country. Failure to comply with these requirements will be considered a violation of the law and violators could face punitive damages and criminal charges.
