DUSHANBE, 19.04.2019. (NIAT Khovar) – On April 19, the National Bank of Tajikistan (NBT) determined the official exchange rate of foreign currencies for accounting and payment of customs duties as follows:

1 USD = 9.4396 TJS,

1 Euro = 10.6233 TJS,

1 Russian ruble = 0.1473 TJS.

Also on April 19, the average selling rate of cash foreign currencies in credit institutions of Tajikistan is:

1 USD – from 9.4396 TJS to 9.4400 TJS,

1 Euro – from 10.6233 to 10.7000 TJS,

1 Russian ruble – from 0.1473 to 0.1495 TJS.

NBT warns that foreign exchange operations are prohibited outside bank branches, bank service center offices, as well as at ATMs and payment terminals located within the country. Failure to comply with these requirements will be considered a violation of the law and violators could face punitive damages and criminal charges.
