DUSHANBE, 29.04.2019. (NIAT Khovar) – On April 29, the National Bank of Tajikistan (NBT) determined the official exchange rate of foreign currencies for accounting and payment of customs duties as follows:

1 USD = 9.4395 TJS,

1 Euro = 10.5137 TJS,

1 Russian ruble = 0.1459 TJS.

Also on April 29, the average selling rate of cash foreign currencies in credit institutions of Tajikistan is:

1 USD – from 9.4395 TJS to 9.4400 TJS,

1 Euro – from 10.5137 to 10.5300 TJS,

1 Russian ruble – from 0.1459 to 0.1475 TJS.

NBT warns that foreign exchange operations are prohibited outside bank branches, bank service center offices, as well as at ATMs and payment terminals located within the country. Failure to comply with these requirements will be considered a violation of the law and violators could face punitive damages and criminal charges.
