Dushanbe Junior Football Players Won the Grassroots Tajikistan 2019 Tournament
DUSHANBE, 17.06.2019. (NIAT Khovar) – The Grassroots Tajikistan 2019 tournament took place in Guliston with the participation of Tajik, Kazakh, Kyrgyz and Uzbek teams.
The tournament was organized by the Football Federation of Tajikistan and the Children-Junior Football League. The participants were taken on excursions and entertainment. There were no losers in this tournament. The talented and promising children were given the opportunity to develop their skills and to strive to achieve more in their football career.
Following the group stage, teams from Dushanbe and Kazakhstan (Jeyran) played in the final of the tournament. The match ended with the score of 4:0, in favor of the Tajik players.
In the match for the third place, children from cities and regions of the republican subordination played against Uzbekistan’s Nasaf.
The organizing committee of the tournament determined the best players.
The First Deputy Chairman of the Football Federation of the Sughd Province (FFS) Khurshed Akdodov, head of the department for youth and sports affairs of Guliston Saidakhon Ahmadzoda, responsible secretary of the FFS Ahliddin Yunusov, head of the children-junior department of the FFS Firdavs Barotov attended the closing ceremony of the tournament.
Representatives of the winning teams and the best players received commemorative cups, medals, diplomas and valuable prizes.
