Tajikistan to Strengthen Economic Ties with the Gulf Cooperation Council
DUSHANBE, 02.08.2019. (NIAT Khovar) – On July 31, the Ambassador of Tajikistan to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Zarobiddin Kosimi met with the Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani.
During the meeting issues of mutual interest, including strengthening cooperation in the economy, trade, investment and tourism were discussed. The sides paid special attention to joint measures on countering terrorism and extremism. Both sides stressed their commitment to further strengthen and develop fruitful cooperation.
Kosimi also met with the Saudi Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs on Consular Affairs Tamim Majid Al-Dusari.
