DUSHANBE, 25.09.2019 (NIAT Khovar) – On September 25, the National Bank of Tajikistan (NBT) determined the official exchange rate of foreign currencies for accounting and payment of customs duties as follows:

1 USD = 9.6935 TJS,

1 Euro = 10.6725 TJS,

1 Russian ruble = 0.1515 TJS.

Also on September 25, the average selling rate of cash foreign currencies in credit institutions of Tajikistan is:

1 USD – from 9.6935 to 9.7000 TJS,

1 Euro – from 10.6725 to 10.8000 TJS,

1 Russian ruble – from 0.1510 to 0.1515 TJS.

NBT warns that foreign exchange operations are prohibited outside bank branches, bank service center offices, as well as at ATMs and payment terminals located within the country. Failure to comply with these requirements will be considered a violation of the law and violators could face punitive damages and criminal charges.
