DUSHANBE, 17.09.2019 (NIAT Khovar) – On September 17, the National Bank of Tajikistan (NBT) determined the official exchange rate of foreign currencies for accounting and payment of customs duties as follows:

1 USD = 9.6890 TJS,

1 Euro = 10.6899 TJS,

1 Russian ruble = 0.1510 TJS.

Also on September 17, the average selling rate of cash foreign currencies in credit institutions of Tajikistan is:

1 USD – from 9.6500 to 9.7000 TJS,

1 Euro – from 10.6100 to 10.7100 TJS,

1 Russian ruble – from 0.1505 to 0.1519 TJS.

NBT warns that foreign exchange operations are prohibited outside bank branches, bank service center offices, as well as at ATMs and payment terminals located within the country. Failure to comply with these requirements will be considered a violation of the law and violators could face punitive damages and criminal charges.
