President Emomali Rahmon Attends Unveiling Ceremony of the Newly-built Danghara Palace of Culture and Held a Meeting with the Locals
DUSHANBE, 12.09.2019. (NIAT Khovar) – On his working trip to Danghara, the Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon attended the unveiling ceremony of the newly-built Danghara Palace of Culture and held a meeting with the locals.
The palace’s completion was planned to coincide with Independence Day. It was built by skillful hands of Tajik craftsmen in a unique style in the picturesque area of the district.
Congratulating the locals with Independence Day, the launch of Rogun Hydroelectric Power Plant’s second unit and the opening ceremony of a number of socio-economic facilities, President Emomali Rahmon expressed his gratitude to the hospitable people of Danghara for their warm and sincere welcome and for their support of government policies.
Noting Tajikistan’s significant achievements during the period of independence and the government’s efforts to ensure a decent standard of living, he emphasized that to properly celebrate the upcoming 30th anniversary of independence, and to facilitate in promoting 2019-2021 as the Period of Rural Development, Tourism and Folk Crafts, dozens of small and medium-sized enterprises, service centers and social institutions have been built and commissioned throughout the Danghara district. As a result, hundreds of residents have been provided with permanent jobs.
Danghara officials together with patriotic entrepreneurs are planning to build and renovate more than 300 facilities, 124 of which have already been completed.
President Emomali Rahmon instructed the local officials and the public to expand the landscaping work and to continue to implement the goals of the leadership of the state and the government.
Twenty buildings have been built in honor of the 28th anniversary of independence, including the district’s emblem, a modern children’s play and sports grounds, a dairy processing plant Shiri Danghara, a service center, a 320–seat Technical-Vocational Lyceum, two educational institutions which accommodate 4800 students, a four-kilometer road, administrative buildings in the rural community of Korez and Lohur, and the building of the Committee for Land Administration and the Health Center in the village of Rakhshonzamin.
It was noted that the recent construction works initiated by the generous businessmen will facilitate in easing many social problems of the population and create better living conditions for the residents of the district.
In connection with beautification works President Emomali Rahmon expressed gratitude to the generous businessmen for their patriotic initiatives aimed at improving this corner of the region.
At the end of his remarks, President Emomali Rahmon expressed his confidence that the newer generations will make a greater contribution to the development and prosperity of the beloved motherland.
