Tajik Culture Days Open in Ulaanbaatar During Emomali Rahmon’s State Visit

DUSHANBE, July 20, 2026 (NIAT Khovar) – The Days of Tajik Culture officially opened in Ulaanbaatar on Sunday as part of President Emomali Rahmon’s state visit to Mongolia, highlighting the two countries’ growing cultural and humanitarian cooperation.

The three-day event, running through July 22, aims to strengthen cultural ties, expand people-to-people exchanges and showcase Tajikistan’s rich historical and cultural heritage.

The opening ceremony featured an exhibition of paintings and photographs depicting Tajikistan’s history, civilization, national traditions, cultural achievements and natural landscapes.

Tajik Minister of Culture Matlubakhon Sattoriyon and Mongolia’s Minister of Culture, Sports, Tourism and Youth Aldarjavkhlan Zhukov officially inaugurated the event.

The program concluded with a gala concert by Tajik artists, who performed traditional music, songs and dances for government officials, members of the diplomatic corps and residents of Ulaanbaatar.
