Tajik Culture Days Begin in Mongolia

DUSHANBE, July 20, 2026 (NIAT Khovar) – The Days of Tajik Culture will open in Mongolia on Sunday, highlighting efforts to strengthen cultural ties and people-to-people exchanges between the two countries.

The program will feature an exhibition of paintings and photographs showcasing Tajikistan’s history, cultural heritage, traditions, achievements since independence and natural landscapes, followed by a gala concert by Tajik artists.

As part of the event, Tajik Minister of Culture Matlubakhon Sattoriyon met with Mongolia’s Minister of Culture, Sports, Tourism and Youth, Aldarjavkhlan Jukov, to discuss expanding cooperation in culture and the arts. The ministers expressed interest in promoting partnerships between educational institutions, training cultural professionals and exchanging expertise.

Tajikistan and Mongolia established diplomatic relations on April 24, 1992. In recent years, bilateral cooperation has expanded across political, economic and cultural fields, supported by shared interests and longstanding historical and cultural connections.
