DUSHANBE, 10.10.2019 (NIAT Khovar) – On October 10, the National Bank of Tajikistan (NBT) determined the official exchange rate of foreign currencies for accounting and payment of customs duties as follows:

1 USD = 9.6928 TJS,

1 Euro = 10.6408 TJS,

1 Russian ruble = 0.1489 TJS.

Also on October 10, the average selling rate of cash foreign currencies in credit institutions of Tajikistan is:

1 USD – from 9.6928 to 9.7000 TJS,

1 Euro – from 10.6408 to 10.8000 TJS,

1 Russian ruble – from 0.1485 to 0.1515 TJS.

NBT warns that foreign exchange operations are prohibited outside bank branches, bank service center offices, as well as at ATMs and payment terminals located within the country. Failure to comply with these requirements will be considered a violation of the law and violators could face punitive damages and criminal charges.
