DUSHANBE, 30.10.2019 (NIAT Khovar) – On October 30, the National Bank of Tajikistan (NBT) determined the official exchange rate of foreign currencies for accounting and payment of customs duties as follows:

1 USD = 9.6967 TJS,

1 Euro = 10.7604 TJS,

1 Russian ruble = 0.1517 TJS.

Also on October 30, the average selling rate of cash foreign currencies in credit institutions of Tajikistan is:

1 USD – from 9.6967 to 9.7000 TJS,

1 Euro – from 10.7604 to 10.7900 TJS,

1 Russian ruble – from 0.1517 to 0.1540 TJS.

NBT warns that foreign exchange operations are prohibited outside bank branches, bank service center offices, as well as at ATMs and payment terminals located within the country. Failure to comply with these requirements will be considered a violation of the law and violators could face punitive damages and criminal charges.
