DUSHANBE, 25.11.2019 (NIAT Khovar) – On November 25, the National Bank of Tajikistan (NBT) determined the official exchange rate of foreign currencies for accounting and payment of customs duties as follows:

1 USD = 9.6926 TJS,

1 Euro = 10.7239 TJS,

1 Russian ruble = 0.1519 TJS.

Also on November 25, the average selling rate of cash foreign currencies in credit institutions of Tajikistan is:

1 USD – from 9.6926 to 9.7000 TJS,

1 Euro – from 10.7239 to 10.8000 TJS,

1 Russian ruble – from 0.1519 to 0.1545 TJS.

NBT warns that foreign exchange operations are prohibited outside bank branches, bank service center offices, as well as at ATMs and payment terminals located within the country. Failure to comply with these requirements will be considered a violation of the law and violators could face punitive damages and criminal charges.
