DUSHANBE, 26.11.2019 (NIAT Khovar) – On November 26, the National Bank of Tajikistan (NBT) determined the official exchange rate of foreign currencies for accounting and payment of customs duties as follows:

1 USD = 9.6944 TJS,

1 Euro = 10.6803 TJS,

1 Russian ruble = 0.1517 TJS.

Also on November 26, the average selling rate of cash foreign currencies in credit institutions of Tajikistan is:

1 USD – from 9.6944 to 9.7000 TJS,

1 Euro – from 10.6803 to 10.8000 TJS,

1 Russian ruble – from 0.1517 to 0.1535 TJS.

NBT warns that foreign exchange operations are prohibited outside bank branches, bank service center offices, as well as at ATMs and payment terminals located within the country. Failure to comply with these requirements will be considered a violation of the law and violators could face punitive damages and criminal charges.
