DUSHANBE, 11.12.2019 (NIAT Khovar) – On December 11, the National Bank of Tajikistan (NBT) determined the official exchange rate of foreign currencies for accounting and payment of customs duties as follows:

1 USD = 9.6905 TJS,

1 Euro = 10.7436 TJS,

1 Russian ruble = 0.1520 TJS.

Also on December 11, the average selling rate of cash foreign currencies in credit institutions of Tajikistan is:

1 USD – from 9.6905 to 9.7000 TJS,

1 Euro – from 10.7436 to 10.7600 TJS,

1 Russian ruble – from 0.1520 to 0.1550 TJS.

NBT warns that foreign exchange operations are prohibited outside bank branches, bank service center offices, as well as at ATMs and payment terminals located within the country. Failure to comply with these requirements will be considered a violation of the law and violators could face punitive damages and criminal charges.
