Tajik FM Meets With US Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for South and Central Asian Affairs
DUSHANBE, 11.12.2019 (NIAT Khovar) – On Monday, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan Sirojiddin Muhriddin met with the US Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for South and Central Asian Affairs Ambassador Alice Wells.
The meeting took place on the sidelines of the 8th Ministerial Conference “Heart of Asia — Istanbul Process” themed “Peace, Partnership, Prosperity,” reported the Tajik Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The meeting focused on a wide range of issues of mutual interest, including the upcoming annual bilateral consultations between the foreign ministries of the two countries, the fight against terrorism, extremism and drug trafficking, strengthening borders, as well as cooperation within regional platforms.
