DUSHANBE, 21.02.2020. (NIAT Khovar) – On February 21, the National Bank of Tajikistan (NBT) determined the official exchange rate of foreign currencies for accounting and payment of customs duties as follows:

1 USD – 9.6927 TJS,

1 Euro – 10.4594 TJS,

1 Russian ruble – 0.1515 TJS.

Also on February 21, the average selling rate of cash foreign currencies in credit institutions of Tajikistan is:

1 USD – from 9.6927 to 9.7000 TJS

1 Euro – from 10.4594 to 10.6500 TJS,

1 Russian ruble – from 0.1515 to 0.1540 TJS.

NBT warns that foreign exchange operations are prohibited outside bank branches, bank service center offices, as well as at ATMs and payment terminals located within the country. Failure to comply with these requirements will be considered a violation of the law and violators could face punitive damages and criminal charges.
