DUSHANBE, 08.04.2020. (NIAT Khovar) – On April 8, the National Bank of Tajikistan (NBT) determined the official exchange rate of foreign currencies for accounting and payment of customs duties as follows:

1 USD – 10.2183 TJS,

1 Euro – 11.1644 TJS,

1 Russian ruble – 0.1350 TJS.

Also on April 8, the average selling rate of cash foreign currencies in credit institutions of Tajikistan is:

1 USD – from 10.2183 TJS to 10.2400 TJS

1 Euro – from 11.1644 to 11.2000 TJS,

1 Russian ruble – from 0.1350 to 0.1365 TJS.

NBT warns that foreign exchange operations are prohibited outside bank branches, bank service center offices, as well as at ATMs and payment terminals located within the country. Failure to comply with these requirements will be considered a violation of the law and violators could face4 punitive damages and criminal charges.
