DUSHANBE, 22.04.2020. (NIAT Khovar) – On April 22, the National Bank of Tajikistan (NBT) determined the official exchange rate of foreign currencies for accounting and payment of customs duties as follows:

1 USD – 10.2494 TJS,

1 Euro – 11.1134 TJS,

1 Russian ruble – 0.1328 TJS.

Also on April 22, the average selling rate of cash foreign currencies in credit institutions of Tajikistan is:

1 USD – from 10.2494 TJS to 10.2500 TJS

1 Euro – from 11.1134 to 11.7500 TJS,

1 Russian ruble – from 0.1328 to 0.1330 TJS.

NBT warns that foreign exchange operations are prohibited outside bank branches, bank service center offices, as well as at ATMs and payment terminals located within the country. Failure to comply with these requirements will be considered a violation of the law and violators could face4 punitive damages and criminal charges.
