Tajik Ambassador to China and SCO Secretary General Discuss COVID-19 Pandemic
DUSHANBE, 13.04.2020. (NIAT Khovar) – The Ambassador of Tajikistan to China Parviz Davlatzoda met with the Secretary General of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Vladimir Norov on April 9 in Beijing.
The meeting focused on the situation relating to the COVID-19 pandemic, reports the Tajik Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
All countries, including the SCO member states can control this infection only with solidarity and mutual assistance, noted the officials.
The parties also exchanged views on issues relating to political, economic and humanitarian cooperation within the SCO, preparations of the organization’s main events during Tajikistan’s presidency, including the upcoming SCO anniversary summit which will be held in Dushanbe in 2021 and 20 others future events.
