Saidzoda Attends a Video Conference Meeting of Deputy FMs of Central Asia and Russia
DUSHANBE, 23.05.2020. (NIAT Khovar) – On Thursday, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Zohir Saidzoda attended a video conference meeting of deputy foreign ministers of the Central Asian countries and Russia.
The parties exchanged views on pressing issues in the international and regional agenda.
They also discussed counteracting the spread of COVID-19, and focused on aspects of mutual assistance in overcoming the socio-economic consequences of the pandemic.
Participants also confirmed their readiness to continue mutually beneficial cooperation between Central Asian countries and Russia in order to contribute to the achievement of sustainable development.
