Tajik and Armenian FMs Discuss Counteracting the Spread of COVID-19
DUSHANBE, 21.05.2020. (NIAT Khovar) – Yesterday, the Minister of Foreign Affairs Sirojiddin Muhriddin had a telephone conversation with his Armenian counterpart Zohrab Mnatsakanyan.
They discussed the issues relating to counteracting the spread of coronavirus infection and exchanged information on the steps taken by the governments of the two countries to combat the pandemic.
The ministers also exchanged views on pressing issues on bilateral relations, agreed to intensify the activities of the parties in various fields, primarily using the mechanism of political consultations and the potential of the Tajik-Armenian Intergovernmental Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation.
