Tajikistan’s Tourism Opportunities Presented to Indian Partners
DUSHANBE, 18.08.2020. (NIAT Khovar) – Tajikistan’s tourism opportunities were presented to Indian partners yesterday during a web conference, reports the Committee for Tourism Development.
The web conference was initiated by the Tajik Embassy in India in collaboration with the Committee for Tourism Development which was attended by leaders and officials of Tajik and Indian associations and travel agencies.
The Tajik side was represented by the Chairman of the Committee for Tourism Development Shirin Amonzoda, and the representatives of associations Support to the Development of Tourism Organization of Tajikistan, Pamir Ecological and Cultural Tourism, Zarafshan Tourism Council, Orient Adventure, and Artuch. India is an important and the two countries have deep cultural and historical ties.
“Currently, the interest of countries in vital areas is growing, and finding new ways of cooperation is one of the key areas for the development of partnership. In this context, tourism as a priority area can be chosen as one of the important tools for expanding mutually beneficial cooperation,” said Amonzoda.
Tajikistan with its rich history, culture, kind, hospitable people, and philosophical traditions and ceremonies is a fascinating place for tourists. Glaciers, captivating landscapes make Tajikistan the best place to travel.
