CSTO and CIS Member States Representatives Held Scheduled Consultations on UN General Assembly’s 75th Session’s Agenda

DUSHANBE, 05.09.2020. (NIAT Khovar) – Scheduled consultations of representatives of member states of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) and the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) on the agenda of the 75th session of the UN General Assembly took place on September 3-4 via videoconference.
The participants discussed a range of issues relating to the cooperation between the parties within the framework of international and regional organizations, including the UN, and outlined the priorities of their countries on the agenda of the 75th session of the UN General Assembly.
In this context, detailed information was given on Tajikistan’s priority topics and the need to take joint and coordinated measures to counter the COVID-19 pandemic and other global security challenges and threats.
