DUSHANBE, 29.09.2020 (NIAT Khovar) –   The Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon took part in the opening ceremony of a number of social facilities in Dushanbe. He was accompanied by the Speaker of the National Assembly, Chairman of Dushanbe Rustam Emomali.

In Sharifjon Huseinzoda Street of the Shohmansur metropolitan area, during the opening ceremony of a multi-level residential tower, he handed over the first apartments to the officers of the Border Troops of the State Committee for  National Security.

Seventy six officers of the Border Troops received housing. All apartments are fully equipped with household appliances, including refrigerators, TV sets, washing machines and other necessary items.

President Rahmon also participated in the opening ceremony of a preschool Khurshed Tojikiston, which occupies an area of 12,000 square meters and cost 51 million somoni. 

During the last of three years, 24 secondary schools and six preschools have been built and reconstructed in Dushanbe.

Currently, the construction of 12 educational institutions and five preschools is underway.

This was followed by an opening ceremony for the Poytakht Training Center of the Border Troops, which in turn was followed by the opening ceremony of the Central Military Hospital of the Border Troops of the State Committee for National Security of the Republic of Tajikistan which was under reconstruction.

President Emomali Rahmon also visited the Firdavsi metropolitan area where he attended the ceremony for the opening of the Parviz Sobirov Sports Complex.
