Excursion and Ethno-Festival Took Place in Sari Khosor

DUSHANBE, 08.09.2020. (NIAT Khovar) – On September 5-6, the Committee for Tourism Development in collaboration with Hi Central Asia Project and Go Travel Tajikistan Agency organized an excursion and ethno festival in the tourist zone of Sari Khosor in Baljuvon district.
The event was organized with the government’s support in order to strengthen the development of domestic tourism and represent the country’s tourism potential.
Tourists and festival participants included representatives of the diplomatic corps accredited in Tajikistan, travel agencies, as well as students and postgraduates of the Russian-Tajik (Slavic) University.
As part of the trip, the tourists examined the ancient plane trees in Dashta. According to the festival program, the guests lit a fire in the open area of the Sari Khosor hotel at night, sang and danced around it.
At dawn, the guests with the whole team greeted the sunrise at the famous waterfall Sari Khosor. The waterfall is located at an altitude of 2010 meters above sea level, water flows down to the ground from a height of 57 meters.
After breakfast, the tourists visited the foot of the Changob gorge and to the Boboi Turakhon garden, which is located 5 km from the picturesque town of Sari Khosor.
Tourists were treated to delicious national dishes such as kurutob, national cakes with milk and butter, milk rice porridge and pilaf.
The picturesque and unique nature, as well as the pleasant breeze of the valley, inspired the guests, who suggested that travel agencies organize such travel programs more often.
