Head of the World Food Program in Tajikistan Completes His Mission

DUSHANBE, 16.09.2020. (NIAT Khovar) – Yesterday, the Minister of Foreign Affairs Sirojiddin Muhriddin has received the Head of the World Food Program (WFP) in Tajikistan Alberto Correia Mendes on the occasion of the completion of his mission.
The parties discussed issues relating to cooperation between Tajikistan and WFP, including implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG-2), Food Security, Adaptation to Climate Change and Disaster Risk Reduction.
Following the meeting, Muhriddin expressed his gratitude to Mendes and wished him success in his future endeavors.
