Tajikistan, Iran Agree to Boost Parliamentary Relations

DUSHANBE, 28.10.2020 (NIAT Khovar) – On 27 October, Tajik Ambassador in Tehran Nizomiddin Zohidi met with Chairman of the Iranian-Tajikistan Parliamentary Friendship Group Jalil Rahimi Jahanabadi.
The parties exchanged views on strengthening bilateral relations between Tajikistan and Iran and noted the important role of the Interparliamentary Friendship Groups of the two countries.
The Iranian side presented to the Tajik side the composition of its Interparliamentary Friendship Group and expressed its readiness to contribute to the development of parliamentary relations between Iran and Tajikistan.
