Ambassador of Tajikistan Meets First Deputy FM of Uzbekistan

DUSHANBE, 20.11.2020 (NIAT Khovar) – The Ambassador of Tajikistan to Uzbekistan Sodik Imomi met with the First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Farhod Arziev.
The parties discussed a wide range of issues relating to mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries.
It was emphasized that today the volume of trade turnover between the countries from $ 196.8 million in 2016 reached $ 500 million.
Arziev thanked the Tajik side for supporting Uzbekistan’s candidacy in the elections to the UN Human Rights Council.
The parties also expressed their readiness to promote further expansion and development of cooperation between Tajikistan and Uzbekistan in various fields.
