DUSHANBE, 14.11.2020 (NIAT Khovar) – Yesterday, Minister of Foreign Affairs Sirojiddin Muhriddin received the heads of the diplomatic missions of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland Matthew Lawson, France Michelle Tarran, and the UN Resident Coordinator in Tajikistan Sezin Sinanoglu.
The discussion centered around climate change and the water agenda.
Muhriddin highlighted Tajikistan’s crucial contribution in mitigating the impacts of climate change and emphasized the importance of Tajikistan’s global initiatives aimed at addressing pressing water, energy, and climate issues.
Lawson informed about the preparatory process of the upcoming summit on climate change, which will be held online on December 12.
