More Healthcare Facilities to Be Built and Reconstruct in Northern Tajikistan By 2021

DUSHANBE, 02.11.2020 (NIAT Khovar) – Over 450 health facilities, including 64 hospitals, 118 first-aid posts, 86 health centers, 18 maternity hospitals, 101 centers for conducting the khatna ritual and 72 pharmacies will be build and reconstructed in Sughd region by the 30th anniversary of Tajikistan’s independence in 2021.
Of these, 123 medical institutions, including 15 hospitals, 39 first-aid posts, 20 medical centers, five maternity hospitals, 13 centers for the khatna ritual and 31 pharmacies will be build and reconstructed in 2020.
For the first nine months of this year, the construction and reconstruction of 64 medical institutions, including 10 hospitals, 16 first-aid posts, 14 medical centers, two maternity hospitals, eight centers for the khatna ritual and 14 pharmacies have already been completed.
