Tajik Theater Delights the Russian Audience

DUSHANBE, 16.11.2020 (NIAT Khovar) – On November 14 and 15, two performances of the Dushanbe’s Mayakovsky State Drama Theater were shown on the stage of the G. Konstantinov Academic Russian Drama Theater in Yoshkar-Ola.
On Saturday, the audience watched the tragedy based on the play by W. Shakespeare Hamlet, and on Sunday — the comedy of J. B. Moliere Tartuffe.
Earlier, performances by Mayakovsky Theater were shown on the stage of the Kirov Region Red Banner of Labor Drama Theater. The theater’s tour from Tajikistan to Russian cities took place as part of the Big Tours program.
The performances of the artists were sold out, told Mayakovsky Theater Director, Honored Artist of Tajikistan Munira Dadaeva.
Yesterday, on her Facebook page, she expressed gratitude to Russian viewers for a warm welcome.
Today, the 2nd Festival of Russian foreign theaters will open in Moscow Et Cetera Theater. The festival program also includes a performance by the Mayakovsky Theater Hamlet. The production director is the People’s Artist of Tajikistan, laureate of the State Prize named after Rudaki Bahodur Miralibekov.
