DUSHANBE, 18.01.2021 (NIAT Khovar) – The Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon held a meeting with the newly appointed officials of the Prosecutor General’s Office, the Agency for State Financial Control and Fight Against Corruption, the Main Directorate for the Execution of the Criminal Sentences of the Ministry of Justice, the National Bank, and the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade.

By presidential executive orders, Tolibzoda Firdavs and Yakubzoda Mirhayot have been appointed as the Deputy Chairmen of the National Bank of Tajikistan.

By governmental decree, Vosidiyon Farhod has been appointed as Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade of the Republic of Tajikistan.

Heads of Departments of the Agency for State Financial Control and Combating Corruption in GBAO, Khatlon Province and other Departments of the Agency’s Central Office have been appointed from among young and experienced staff.

The Prosecutors of the GBAO, Rasht, Sangvor, Khovaling, Mir Said Ali Hamadoni, Bobojon Ghafurov and Shohmansur districts of Dushanbe have been replaced.

During the conversation with the newly appointed officials, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon mentioned the difficulties, shortcomings and violations in the cited structures and called for the elimination of shortcomings in a timely manner in the banking system, the process of conducting prosecutorial supervision and land-related rights violations, preventions of smuggling of goods and items as well as fighting corruption-related offences.
