Subrahmanyam Jaishankar: India Fully Supports Tajikistan’s SCO Presidency

DUSHANBE, 31.03.2021 (NIAT Khovar) – India fully supports Tajikistan’s presidency in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization. This was stated yesterday in Dushanbe at a briefing of the Indian External Affairs Minister Subrahmanyam Jaishankar following his meeting with President Emomali Rahmon.
“The meeting focused on bilateral cooperation including the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic and issues related to Afghanistan,” Jaishankar said.
He noted that India has made a worthy contribution to the implementation of the Dushanbe-Chortut 8-lane highway project.
Today, Jaishankar will meet with his Tajik counterpart Sirojiddin Muhriddin.
