Deputy FM Huseynzoda Meets Kyrgyz Ambassador

DUSHANBE, 28.04.2021 (NIAT Khovar) – Yesterday, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Muzaffar Huseynzoda met with the Kyrgyz Ambassador to Tajikistan Zhanysh Rustenbekov.
Rustenbekov received a note from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressing the deep concern of the Tajik side about the illegal actions of representatives of the State Border Service of Kyrgyzstan against two minor citizens of Tajikistan in the Kulik area of the Vorukh rural community of Isfara.
Huseynzoda declared the inadmissibility of such illegal actions leading to tension in the border zone.
He called on the Kyrgyz side to take urgent measures to bring those responsible to justice and inform the Tajik side of the results.
The Deputy Minister noted that the Tajik side is committed to the consistent development of relations of friendship and good neighborliness with Kyrgyzstan in conditions of peace, stability and mutual respect based on the traditions and commonality of spiritual and cultural values of the two fraternal peoples.
