FM Muhriddin Attends the Fifth Silk Road International Exposition Opening Ceremony

DUSHANBE, 12.05.2021 (NIAT Khovar) – Yesterday in Xi’an, the Minister of Foreign Affairs Sirojiddin Muhriddin delivered speech at the opening ceremony of the Fifth Silk Road International Exposition, which is held under the slogan ‘Connectivity, joint construction and use.’
In his speech, Muhriddin noted the importance of the Silk Road International Exposition as a new platform for the development of cooperation between the countries of the region.
The importance of holding such expositions in order to familiarize with the historical and cultural heritage of peoples and present national goods, as well as existing opportunities for expanding cooperation in the fields of trade, investment, energy, industry, agriculture, transport and communication was noted.
Muhriddin proposed to continue building up efforts to more effectively use the vast potential of the region in various sectors of national economies.
