Tajikistan and Bahrain Hold Ministerial Political Consultations

DUSHANBE, 28.07.2021 (NIAT Khovar) – Yesterday, Tajikistan and Bahrain held the first round of ministerial political consultations via videoconference.
The delegations of the parties were led by the First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan Khusrav Noziri and the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Bahrain Shaikh Abdulla bin Ahmed Al Khalifa.
The consultations focused on the current state and prospects of development of mutually beneficial cooperation between Tajikistan and Bahrain in the political, economic, trade, investment, tourism, agricultural, air traffic areas, strengthening the legal basis, interaction in the framework of international and regional organizations and other issues of mutual concern.
The parties stressed the importance of high-level contacts and exchange of visits for the development of bilateral cooperation.
They also stressed the need for convening the first Joint Intergovernmental Commission and the expansion of cooperation in various fields.
