DUSHANBE, 25.08.2021 (NIAT Khovar) – Ahead of the 30th anniversary of state independence, the Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon handed state awards and senior military titles and class ranks to heads and officers of law enforcement agencies, military, intelligence, and security services, as well as judicial bodies.
The ceremony took place in the Palace of the Nation.
«These awards serve as rewards for courage, perseverance, and loyal service to the people of Tajikistan and the independent Tajik state.»
Hundred officers were received state awards for high service achievements, courage, and professionalism. Eighteen individuals received the Jubilee Medal in honor of the 30th Anniversary of State Independence. One individual received the Order of Spitamen in the 1st degree, five individuals were awarded the Order of Spitamen in the 2nd degree, ten people received the Order of Sharaf in the 2nd degree, 13 people received the Medal of Jasorat, 14 people were awarded the Khizmati Shoista medal, one person was awarded the Medal of the Valiant Border Guard of Tajikistan, and four people received the honorary title of Honored Worker of Tajikistan.
In addition, 37 people received class ranks such as Colonel-General of Police, Lieutenant-General of Justice, Major-General of Justice, Lieutenant-General, Major-General, State justice Counselor in the 3rd Class, Major General of Police, Major General of the Internal Service, and Major General of Customs Service.
By a presidential executive order for meritorious services Barno Saidnabi Saidvalizoda head of the Executive Service under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan was awarded the special rank of Major General of Police.
Concluding the awarding ceremony, President Rahmon expressed his confidence that loyal Tajiks will continue to perform their duties before the state and people of Tajikistan with responsibility, sense of patriotism, and professional vigilance.
