In the city of Khorugh, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, remotely commissioned 90 facilities of various purposes that were constructed in the cities and districts of the Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Province in honor of the major national celebration—the 35th anniversary of State Independence.

In the city of Khorugh, eight facilities were inaugurated, including the Atrofi Toza Limited Liability Company solid household waste processing and packaging plant, creating 10 jobs; the Panacea medicinal herbs processing enterprise, with six permanent and 80 seasonal jobs; the Somoni Davr Limited Liability Company concrete plant, creating 10 jobs; the private Shirinjon kindergarten for 100 children; the private Dilnoza kindergarten for 60 children, creating six jobs; the Risolat preschool institution for 60 children, creating 12 jobs; and a modern sports complex providing 20 jobs. In addition, six road projects of international and national significance, which are being constructed, renovated, and asphalted within the Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Province, were presented.

In Darvoz district, 11 facilities were inaugurated by the Head of State, Emomali Rahmon, adding new amenities and enhancing the appearance of the district. These included the Darvoz Aqua drinking-water production company, creating 30 jobs; a preschool institution for 50 children; a preschool institution for 60 children in Kurgovad village of Voshkherv rural community; the Industrial and Technological Innovation Park drinking-water production enterprise, creating six jobs; the Pamir Silk Road hotel for 30 guests, creating 10 jobs; five modern hotels in Zev village of Qalai Khumb rural community, accommodating up to 150 guests and creating 20 jobs; and Toj Korea Limited Liability Company, specializing in fish farming and packaging, creating 25 jobs.

In Vanj district, 12 facilities were inaugurated, including a medical post in Sadvadg village with four jobs; a district food safety and diagnostic center for 24 employees; Secondary School No. 32, designed for 100 students per shift; the Afsona preschool in Andarbak village for 60 children; the new Amina preschool in Udob village for 60 children; the Abuabdullohi Rudaki Cultural and Recreational Park; three service centers with production workshops and a hotel in the center of Vanj district, creating 14 jobs; the Durakhshandagon preschool institution for 60 children in Lugad village; a preschool institution for 60 children in Rovand village; and the Chashmai Donish preschool institution for 60 children.

In Rushon district, 12 facilities were commissioned, including a 112-kilowatt solar power plant in Vranjan village; a 25-kilowatt small hydropower plant in Bijrav village; a 15-kilowatt hydropower plant in Devlokh village; a sports ground in the district center of Rushon, creating 10 jobs; an industrial enterprise for packaging dried fruits and mulberries, creating 20 jobs; and a 110-kilovolt power transmission line extending 42 kilometers.

In Roshtqala district, 15 facilities of various purposes were inaugurated remotely. These included the Khiradmandon state preschool in Shoshbuvad village for 60 children; the Chehrai Fardo state preschool for 60 children; a preschool institution for 50 children; Secondary School No. 24 for 144 students in two shifts; an industrial park comprising nine workshops; a modern greenhouse for vegetable cultivation; and a preschool institution for 200 children.

In Shughnon district, 16 facilities were remotely inaugurated by the Head of State. These included Preschool No. 10, Ganji Millat, for 60 children; a 3-megawatt solar power plant in Rozh village; the Shughnon Industrial Park, comprising six industrial workshops and creating 40 jobs; a modern greenhouse and fish-farming pond in Pashor village; a preschool institution in Nishus village for 30 children; the Durakhshandagon preschool for 60 children; Private Preschool No. 2, Nasli Istiqlol, for 80 children; and Preschool No. 7, Mehri Peshvo, for 60 children.

In Ishkoshim district, nine facilities were inaugurated on the day of the Leader of the Nation’s working visit. These included Preschool No. 5 for 60 children; four new modern greenhouses creating seven jobs; an industrial park providing 80 jobs; and the historic Yamchun Fortress following renovation.

In the remote Murghob district, four facilities were constructed and commissioned in honor of the anniversary of independence. These included a new building for the Department of the State Committee for National Security; the Parastu preschool for 60 children; the Durakhshon preschool for 100 children; a new building for the district tax inspectorate; and two experimental wind power plants with a combined electricity generation capacity of 200 kilowatts.

It is particularly noteworthy that, within the framework of President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon’s working visit to the cities and districts of the Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Province, in addition to the 90 facilities inaugurated remotely, another 185 facilities of various purposes were also commissioned.
