DUSHANBE, 15.09.2021 (NIAT Khovar) –The Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon met with President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, who is in Dushanbe to take part in a meeting of the CSTO Collective Security Council and SCO Council of Heads of State.
The discussion focusing on further expansion and development of strategic partnership between the two countries. The conversation also covered matters related to regional and global problems.
At the outset of the talks, President Rahmon expressed satisfaction over the level of developments of bilateral relations between Tajikistan and Kazakhstan in all aspects.
The parties expressed interest in the development and expansion of cooperation in economic, trade, industry, agriculture, transport, military and other sectors of mutual interest.
During the meeting the officials agreed to establish joint ventures and centers of wholesale distribution in Tajikistan and to hold the next consultative meeting in 2022 in Tajikistan.
While discussing current military and political developments in Afghanistan, President Rahmon emphasizing the unified and solid position of Tajikistan regarding the comprehensive solution to Afghan problem.
