President Emomali Rahmon’s Working Tour to Baljuvon and Temurmalik

DUSHANBE, 23.09.2021 (NIAT Khovar) – The Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon visited Baljuvon of Khatlon Province with the purpose of attending the opening of several socio-economic facilities and to meet with the local representatives.
His visit began with the opening ceremonies of a modern administrative building of the Executive Body of the State Authority of the Baljuvon District, and the branch of Amonatbank.
Taking part in the groundbreaking ceremony of the two five-story residential buildings, President Rahmon continued to the inauguration ceremony for the building of the historical and ethnographic museum of the district.
He also took part in the unveiling ceremonies of the National Flag Square with a 35-meter flagpole, the National Emblem, and the central stadium.
Likewise, President Rahmon opened the Saydi Khosor restaurant, which was built within the framework of Period of Rural Development, Tourism and Folk Crafts. There he also held a meeting with public representatives.
He noted that the government is continuing to ensure the sustainable socio-economic development of Baljuvon, and has so far channeled more than 780 million somoni to the area.
He noted that 16 public investment projects worth more than 248 million somoni have been implemented in the district, with five more underway.
President Rahmon stressed that the Program of Socio-Economic Development of Baljuvon for 2021-2025 provides for the implementation of 129 projects totaling 334 million somoni.
In addition he noted that the Dangara-Kangurt-Baljuvon-Khovaling Highway was reconstructed with 190 million somoni and put into operation in 2019.
Forty-five new buildings of educational institutions have been built and put into operation in Baljuvon since Tajikistan’s independence.
While visiting the Temurmalik district, President Rahmon attended the opening of the Boboyunus Khudoidodzoda Cultural and Recreation Park, which had been closed due to renovation work.
There he also attended the opening ceremony of a secondary educational institution, and the unveiling ceremony of the National Flag and Emblem Square.
