President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Ebrahim Raisi Arrives in Dushanbe

President Ebrahim Raisi and his delegation arrived in Tajikistan today. They were welcomed by the Prime Minister of Tajikistan Kohir Rasulzoda and other officials at the Dushanbe International Airport.
He will take part in a meeting of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Council of Heads of State as an observer state.
The heads of the SCO member states are expected to decide on launching the procedure for Iran as a full member the organization.
This is President Raisi’s first visit to Tajikistan since his election as President of Iran.
