Samarkand Hosted a Tajik and Uzbek Meeting on Border Demarcation

DUSHANBE, 28.09.2021 (NIAT Khovar) – The meeting of the Tajik and Uzbek demarcation working groups took place from September 20 through September 27 in Samarkand.
The meeting focused on the demarcation work of the Tajik-Uzbek border.
The parties also considered the results of the field work carried out on the Tajik-Uzbek border and agreed to continue them in order to prepare the project demarcation line.
The sides also agreed to hold their next meeting in Tajikistan.
A protocol was signed following the meeting.
