Tajik Representatives Attend the Second Forum of the Heads of Regions of the SCO Member States

DUSHANBE, 30.09.2021 (NIAT Khovar) – Yesterday, the Consul General of Tajikistan in Yekaterinburg, Russia Zafar Sayidzoda took part in the second Forum of the Heads of Regions of the Member States of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) in Chelyabinsk.
Governor of Chelyabinsk Alexei Teksler, Governor of Astrakhan Igor Babushkin spoke at the plenary session dedicated to the mechanisms for implementing the Program for the Development of Interregional Cooperation of SCO Member States. SCO Secretary General Vladimir Norov, Deputy Chairman of the Committee for Local Development of Tajikistan Nurali Riozoda, and other officials of member states also participated in the forum.
The demand for this growing interstate platform was noted.
Sayidzoda discussed the role of SCO members in the development of logistics routes within the framework of multilateral cooperation.
