FM Muhriddin Meets with Iranian President Raisi

DUSHANBE, 27.10.2021 (NIAT Khovar) – Yesterday, the President of Iran Sayyid Ebrahim Raisi received the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan Sirojiddin Muhriddin, who is in Tehran on a working visit.
The meeting focused on issues of bilateral cooperation and ways of strengthening it.
They also exchanged views on the current situation in the region, particularly in Afghanistan.
The parties also noted the need to use the existing opportunities and potential to expand the economic cooperation between Tajikistan and Iran.
President Raisi once again thanked President Rahmon and the Tajik people for the hospitality during his official visit to Tajikistan last month.
