President Holds Phone Talk with Russian President Putin

DUSHANBE, 07.10.2021 (NIAT Khovar) – Today, the Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon had a telephone conversation with the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin.
During the conversation, Emomali Rahmon congratulated President Putin on his birthday and wished him good health, well-being, and new achievements in his state activities.
President Rahmon emphasized the fruitful work of Vladimir Putin as President of Russia and his worthy contribution to the comprehensive development of friendly relations and strategic partnership between the two countries.
In addition, President Rahmon congratulated Vladimir Putin on Russia’s successful State Duma elections.
The counterparts also discussed matters on the bilateral agenda, including ensuring regional security, and the latest developments in Afghanistan.
