Tajikistan and Kazakhstan Discuss Oil Products and Liquefied Natural Gas Supplies

DUSHANBE, 06.10.2021 (NIAT Khovar) – Yesterday in Nur-Sultan, the Ambassador of Tajikistan to Kazakhstan Khayrullo Ibodzoda and the Deputy Minister of Energy and Water Resources of Tajikistan Sharif Khudobakhsh met with the Deputy Minister of Energy of Kazakhstan Asset Magaumov.
The meeting was also attended by representatives of the Antimonopoly Service of Tajikistan and heads of Kazakh companies KazMunayGas and Tengizchevroil.
The meeting focused on issues related to the development and expansion of bilateral cooperation in the supply of oil products and liquefied natural gas to Tajikistan, the conclusion of agreements in these areas between Tajik importers and Kazakhstani producers, as well as the possibility of applying a zero customs duty rate for relevant trade operations.
